I collect mice. Childhood nickname is mouse… because I chose a slice of cheese over cookies and pie when I was small. I have them displayed for the first time in years. Here is a peek at a few of them for you.

I painted the bookmark first, and I like it better. The arrangement has a looser feel to it. But I am happy with both of these.
I have also been doing more faces, this first one was done in oil pastels, student quality. And I have to say I do not like them much. I had a hard time with blending, I need to read up on how to do it better.

So keeping busy here the last few days. Hope you are feeling the joy and enjoying some creative time as well.
Busy all week with decorations for a friends bridal shower. Still more to do. Sneaked in some painting. Just playing really and quick bits of time. But I did take a while with this larger image. I cropped it close. For some reason while painting, I kept circling her face with color. Closing in. Not sure what that was about.
