Catching up. Several more are on my desk, in various stages of completion. I think I can, I think I can… get caught up this weekend. Thing is, I am having too much fun with these. Spending too much time. And miraculously, I am not stressed or berating myself for being behind, so soon in the project.

I have painted everyday, late at night. Did I mention I am having fun with these?

See you soon.

Good for you for allowing yourself to take more time on some of your paintings. The challenge (whatever challenge) is there for you after all – not to keep up with the challenge. Love Mingus day 3 – beautiful sky and landscape. Happy to see your work!

It’s a nice feeling Corinne, not to be so stressed. I am trying not to think about the duration, LOL. But I know it will go by quickly. So nice to see your work too Corinne, awesome faces!!!

I would love a series of these. I like Mingus 1, but love Mingus 3. I imagine seven in different lights somehow mounted together. Sunrise, Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Sunset, Moonlight, and of course a stormy day. Or maybe the 4 seasons. Are these for sale?

How did I miss this? So glad you like the Sea. I was planning on pricing them, just have been so busy catching up. Today is the day! To be caught up. I hope. LOL 🙂 I do have some great sunsets, and stormy photos I have wanted to attempt. I am going to be adding a gallery page for the project, I’ll announce when it is up and ready.

I love that you are experimenting and putting it out there. I hope you are not stressing over this – such a great opportunity to try different ideas, views of the Mingus, materials…the list goes on. In #2 I like the bits of colour that were veiled over when you painted in the mountain shapes and left in the sky. Day #3 has a beautiful sky and like how you have echoed some of the colour in the landscape. Thank you for sharing!

No stress, and I am kinda surprised by that to be honest. There is so much I would like to try with these landscapes. And yes, this is the perfect chance to “get my butt in the chair”, as the 100 Day hosts say.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts Janet 🙂

Yes Val, the first one is different. Veered off the intended path, but I don’t mind where it took me. Thanks for dropping by Val 😉

Had fun with that sky Dotty. Didn’t turn out the way I intended. I added some purple shadows under the clouds, but the paper was too wet so it spread more than I planned. But, all in the name of learning. Practice. I will wait longer next time. Still, I like it very much 🙂 Go Dotty!
