I kept it simple for this one. I’m a day behind with the daily painting challenge. Time’s a wasting! I had grand ideas for a watercolor composition. Truth be told, I spent a day listening to that wicked voice in my head, telling me I could not pull it off. I did 3 pages of sketches. Then I procrastinated some more, working on other things that need to be done but could have waited until after my deadline.
This came together in under two hours. My quickest design ever. I made the deadline with 15 minutes to spare. I went with a ditsy. Small scale. Suitable to quilting & children’s clothing.
There are so many amazing designs this week. I am slightly embarrassed to post the link for voting. But the world needs ditsy patterns too.
And when thou art weary I’ll find thee a bed,
Of mosses and flowers to pillow thy head.

I am not sure about this design although it might just be the green tone that is putting me off. Too many irons in your fire girl – lol.
Haha, true Val. I tried several different combos. I probably should not have been so literal.
Happy travels to you! 🙂
Well, ditsy Dotty says she really likes the small scale and simplicity here!
Thank you my friend. Sometimes simple is a good thing. 🙂
Happy creating to you! 🙂
