These next two I am calling works in progress. Not happy with them at the moment, but maybe when I look again they won’t seem so bad. Still, I will tweak them a bit.

The prompt for today’s watercolor is primary colors. These were all painted yesterday afternoon and evening. I am caught up! Again! Today I will be painting #92 along with the other project participants who are painting. I have to admit, I lost my mojo a couple of days ago. Snoopy was in my head. “BLEAH!” But he is gone now. Back in the groove. Even if some of these pieces are not very groovy.

Everything came in pairs today. Two bunnies, two crows. Two tiny birds on the fence. Hmmm, maybe it’s going to rain.

#89 knocks my socks off, Sheila—the proportions and tall orientation; the abstraction; the diagonals; the blend of precision and freeplay; the way the sky conveys infinitude, the way underpinnings of the mountains that are usually invisible to the eye are suggested here with compelling depth. outstanding!

Ooh! I like the dripping on the last three Mingus pieces – very cool! Good that you have caught up as it will give you more time to do two at a time – lol. Have a good day Sheila

I love how both of those turned out Val. The veining in the drip is a cool surprise. I hope you are enjoying your day as well Val 🙂
