This is wonky and too square, but I like it anyway. My next painting is wonky too. Well actually it is a bit Willie Wonka. You will see what I mean, but you have to wait until tomorrow.

Day 21 – 30 In 30

I am not completely happy with today’s piece. It started out longer. I thought cropping might be an improvement, but it still was off. So I took out the big guns. I used Photoshop to add width to the vase. That is cheating I know, and it did not save the piece. Here is the original.

I had a name for this. Not very original. Karin Naylor mentioned it in her comment on my piece yesterday. These shapes may not be very original either. I found a couple of small paintings I did last year, and I have a feeling I saw something I liked, and tried to learn how to recreate it.

These are fun though. I have a feeling there will be more.
