Had fun today. Really. Right up to the point I wrecked the piece. Seven plus creative and satisfying hours, down the drain. This is the palette I used, along with stenciling, collage, and pen. Tomorrow is another day!

Take a look at Leslie’s gallery of daily painters.

My challenge Pinterest board is growing daily!

Mingus mountain is thirty minutes from our house. I have simplified the forms. That is what I see. How I see them. The shapes, the curves, the contrast. The golden rocks are not always visible, a nice surprise. they really catch the light at sunset. I will share some photos soon. Have to size them in Photoshop for posting.

I had fun with this. Slightly larger for me. It would be fun to do this on a large canvas in acrylic.

I love the work being shared in Leslie Seata’s 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge!
I am also adding friends and favorites to my Pinterest board for the event.

There are always flowers for those who want to see them. ~ Henri Matisse

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls. ~ Mother Teresa
