Can  you believe it? We are nearly at the half point. Woo Whoo! Trying to psych myself up, because week three is always the hardest for me. I start to feel like the little engine that could.

I think I can,
I think I can.

So glad the comments are back. And I have YOU cheering in my corner.

Means the world to me!

Yes Janet, big cheer indeed. Although I have to admit, with all of these site issues, it has gone by fast 🙂 The color in the flowers, the purple, is actually a cover up. I had done some dark, the color of the vase. Then I decided it wasn’t right. So I mixed that color with a “white” and that is the result. I think it works though 🙂 Happy creating to you 🙂

I, too, am so glad your comments link is up and running again, Sheila!

Such joy, abundance, simplicity, and directness in From the Garden! I’m having fun thinking the vase is made of pinwale corduroy cut from a pair of slacks or a skirt that got a little worn in the seat, and that what appears to be a shadow cast by the vase is actually water seeping slowing into the tablecloth : ) Love the polkadot wallpaper, too—with its juxtaposition of evennesses and unevennesses.

Dotty my life was desolate without your colorful commentary!!! I love your description. Water on the table, old cords, how you turned an uneven impression into a meant to be detail. Love it all 🙂 That would be my luck. A leaky vase, LOL. Happy travels to you Dotty. You really must see A River Runs Through It sometime. Wonderful movie. I think I might treat myself to some sherbert today 😉

I missed you, Sheila! Glad everything is working as it should again. I wrote a comment the day after “Love Actually” because I also have seen that umpteen times. I love the whole series you are doing this month, and today’s bouquet is the showpiece. What a beautiful, generous group of flowers. I like the design on the vase and its color as a harmony for the flowers.

I missed you too Laurelle! Four days of silence during the challenge was, sad. LOL 🙂 The vase was so fun to do. I have many ideas for vases, having fun with the textures. Happy painting to you 🙂
