They won’t go out until Monday, but I have finished preparing my postcards for Kat Sloma’s exchange. I finished decorating the envelope today. This is the fourth year for the exchange.

There is still time to take part if you are interested. You can see art from the previous exchanges, and get all the details here for Kat Sloma’s Liberate Your Art Postcard Exchange. She has two great video’s of all the participants art.

It is so much fun getting everything ready for this event. But the real fun will start in about a month, when I start receiving postcards from fellow artists and photographers.

I will be sharing the postcards I receive as they come in, it will be like Christmas in March! I hope you will join me, you can sign up to receive my posts by email. (To the right, under my photo.)

Join me in this international exchange! You will receive five postcards from around the world, and one from Kat Sloma. Kat has a goal to reach 250 participants this year. Be one! You can order printed postcards with your art, or you can make your own. If you decide to make your own, comment on this post, and I will send you my template for the back of the postcards. Send your art out into the world!

I have made new friends each year in this exchange, and that is really the best part. There are always “extra” swap requests on the Facebook page too. I included extras for the volunteers who help her as well.

Stay tuned!

Enjoy your Sunday, and happy creating to you!

I’m still working on my piece. Design phase… but I know that as soon as I KNOW what I want to do, the work will go quickly. The thinking part is the hardest for me. But that deadline is fast approaching! Especially since I can’t cheat this year and print the cards myself — we don’t have a home printer right now — so I have to be ready in time to get them printed… But I can’t wait to be part of this great swap — my third year — so much fun to get things in the mail, see where my ended up and to share the process with folks on the facebook page!

I want one too Natasha! I hope you are able to print some extras. Last year I ended up with about 8 extra swaps. I do have extras, and I just ran across your address tonight. The list from last year. So I will be sure to send you an extra swap, if you do not receive oe of my cards. I am excited too! I had a brain fart and thought I could mail my cards today, and when i realized it is a holiday, I was bummed. So they will go out tomorrow. 🙂
