Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Visions of Julie Andrews and snow covered mountains have been keeping me company. 😁 I don’t expect this design to do well in the contest. The details are not clearly visible in the low res image. And maybe I went overboard with the distressed linen effect. Haha. Conus Spiceri is the shell that inspired this design. I used the Pantone color of the year, Viva Magenta.

Our next challenge is to use an assigned palette highlighting Viva Magenta. I am looking forward to it. Voting for favorite things is open until the 13th.

I like the rhythm it creates. Almost like gingham. I think your Valentine one should’ve done much better in the scoring, it’s very cute.

I noticed while scrolling that one of your 30 in 30 icons in your blog only goes to 2018, although we are now in 2022. It’s a small one right at the bottom on my phone.

That is awesome to hear Sea, thank you. 🙂
You are right about the 30 widget. One of the many updates I need to do on the blog.
That is a link to Leslie’s 30’s. I need to create a new page and combine them,
or a make a new page just for the Gathering.

I love the design. At first it looks like maybe abstract people, but as you get closer you see they are seashells, and the color is fabulous! I think it will do very well. Love Dotty’s “Sheila loves seashells.” Big hug!

Thank you Laurelle, fingers crossed. Dotty has a way with words, yes siree! Haha.
One of the reasons her blog is so fun to read. Hugs, Laurelle. 🙂

Wow – one really has to look closely to see what the design is but I think it looks good printed in large format. It is not an in your face design but the colour really pops. Good luck with this vote.

Sheila loves seashells! This design makes for a striking, vibrant wallpaper/throw/curtains pattern. Bold without being over the top, and a real pop when set against otherwise quiet decor. Well done, Sheila!
