When I laid down the yellow, I meant for it to resemble multiple blooms. I left out details, such as outlining each one. I added a center, to hint at one front facing bloom. But I am not sure it reads the way I intended. Oh well, I am still happy with it. Even with having to fix a flub of the wet center bleeding too much,

I will actually have the last few days of the challenge uninterrupted! Whew! Ideas for paintings have popped into my head at odd times. When I am falling asleep, behind the wheel, waiting in line. I just have not had time to do a complicated piece. Bummer.

I can honestly say that after doing a 100 day challenge, 30 days goes by really fast. Ha ha! Triple dog dare ya’!

    Do you carry a notebook to write down the ideas as they come?
    One interesting facet of following along with your project is that if you didn’t tell us of the ‘errors’ or ‘issues’ we would never know and end up just enjoying the paintings just as they are :}

    Keep going!

      Sometimes I enter them on my phone Dave. But often, by the time I have finished one task and moved on to another, I have five new things in my head, and have forgotten that thought all together. LOL Ha ha ha 🙂
      Funny, and I know that is true. I think the same of other artists. I share the problems more as a way to illustrate the solution. And to let any new artists who may be reading, know that they don’t all come easy. I need to get back on IG, I miss seeing your work 😉

      LOL, do you ever remember them the next day, and paint them for real? I wonder if that is where you got the idea to paint on feathers. Hmm… LOL 🙂

      Ha ha, thanks my friend. Hope all is well in your neck of the Arizona woods. There was a fire north of here. Couldn’t tell how far away. I guess I dozed when I meant to check the news. LOL
