We have a theme here. My first thought before I read the other comments was this makes me feel happy. Is it the random dots, the full frontal flower or the color combination? It’s a mystery. But what I do know is that any artist that knows how to spread sunshine is a master.

Very kind of you Sea, thank you 🙂 I was going to use a texture sheet for the pattern. Then I thought I would use a stylus and just do some along the bottom, maybe fading towards the top. But, I got carried away because making the dots was so fun. So it’s the dots I’m betting. LOL 🙂

Apologies for my tendency to anthropomorphise, but your lovely flower is not a single stem in a vase for me but a cheerful being that is saying hello to the world and all excited about what the new day brings…have I lost it completely? Adore your flowers!

No, you haven’t Laurelle. Maybe you have just seen too many Disney movies, LOL 🙂 And that’s not a bad thing. Ha ha ha.
This is a take on a silk flower I have in a bud vase. Clearly non-living, but each time I see her, it, I just know she is ready for a fabulous luncheon, or brunch. A party. Oh, and did I mention she has an English accent? LOL.
See, if you had never told me your story, I would never have mentioned mine 😉 Don’t ever stop 😉
      Enjoy Laurelle 🙂
