I fell like this is missing something. Not sure what it is. I want to rework the upper right, the title. Think I should have done that with white pen instead. I’ll let it rest a day, and come back to it tomorrow.

Happy creating everyone!

Take a look at Leslie’s 30 In 30 Blog for more art!

So glad you had fun with it Val. I kept turning it around to see if it suggested anything, and on the third 1/4 spin, there he was. Ready to play! I was tempted to fill him in but I think that would take away from the “magic”. Enjoy your weekend Val 🙂

Okay, this may be a stretch, but my immediate response is I see a pink elephant’s body with its two front legs, blue head, and the swirling white line for its trunk. This week in the online art class I’m in the teacher is Mystele Kirkeeng, and she allows the paint and marks that she places on her substrate to guide her in what she eventually forms. It seems very freeing and I have yet to do it, but it seems like a lot of your work would lead to that kind of process. She does a free demo on youtube that really explains it far better than I just did.

Oh wow Laurelle, I think you win the prize! I did not see elephant, but yup, could be! I see a pup with one blue leg. I found her on youtube, and I will check out some of her videos tonight, thanks for sharing that. Enjoy your class, and painting weekend 😉

I love that title, and I would leave it dark like it is (but that’s just me). It’s there, but subtle. And I like the yellow-greens at the lower bottom right and left. And WOO-HOO for me! Looking forward to holding something in my hand made by YOU!

    1. I’m eager to see what you might do when you return to this piece after letting it rest; you’ve piqued my curiosity …

    2. I think a pink dog of some sort (from Janet Bradish’s kennel??!) is bounding through this painting—do you see it?

YAY! I did, and I tried not to cover it up… I think that is part of why I feel it is missing something. Such a happy accident that. Those first layers were quick and unintentional. 🙂

I thought it looked like a dog, but you are right Carol, that leg is more horse! I was wondering if anyone would see it 🙂
