Showing this a bit larger, so you can see some of the details. I love the grid marks on the left. That is the panel texture. These panels started with leftover paint on my palette. A swish here, a few marks there. Shiraz, blue, turquoise, rusty orange.

To finish, I added collage, dots and circles. Light Ivory painted on, and rubbed off. Kiwi green, and white Neocolor scribbles. The green is showing much more neon than it is in person. I really feel as if I did, well, not much at all. The bloom was pure accident. It all came together quickly. Nice when that happens!

Beautiful! Love the mark making and textures. Such beautiful colour – and yes! I see the dancer too. This painting gives me such a good feeling.

Thank you Corinne. The word were a gift really, I grabbed a piece of scrap, and all three were on it. So glad you enjoyed it 🙂 (And it is great to hear from you as well!)

And I did not see it right off. Guess I wasn’t looking for it, for any “thing”. Second look it was there plain as the nose on my face, LOL. Happy creating to you Corinne 😉

Perfect for February! Love your new freedom, not defined borders, layering colors, scribbles and what not.

I love those grid marks, too. A swish here, a mark there, and all with your leftover paint. This has your beautiful signature look with each brushstroke, Sheila. Your paintings make me feel good.

Sheila, love this Easter basket of delights: the spring colors, some scribbly grass, a few jelly beans, a fine tooth comb and pastel ribbons for my hair, gentle temperate air coming through the window screen.

You are HUMMIN’ with this 30in30!
