OOPS! I goofed! I was so caught up in prepping the group gallery video, I forgot to post.
I was having too much fun, I suppose. 😉
The collage is a way to remember, to see the scope of what was achieved with small daily steps. It is a way to commemorate our dedication, and learning achieved. It is for ourselves. A small piece of our history. Our story.
The collage is also an important learning tool. It’s an opportunity to learn how to present your work. How to edit: crop out rough edges, insure proper lighting levels, arrangement, how to work with a grid. It’s our visual essay.
Below is my Favorites collage. I do this for myself. As I put it together, I revisit each piece. I think about the ideas I had in mind. What worked, what went wrong. Where I can make improvements. What I can try differently the next time. The happy accidents, and how I might “create” them again. Each series from the month is represented. A nice surprise. 🙂

Thanks so much for following along with this month.
Your observations and support help keep me going.
I’ll post the group gallery soon. I know you don’t want to miss it.
Happy creating to you!

Sheila! Your September 2025 Creative Gathering collage grids are fabulous! The care and thought you put into them is evident. I love seeing your whole September array in one go in this way as well as your favorites from the month. As you know, in the past few months I’ve returned to a MUCH more regular creative practice and I’ve (re)discovered how much that creative practice boosts my well being—I hope you have experienced a similar boost in the past month. And, once again, I applaud your making this opportunity available to others. What a gift to all—creators and followers alike. KUDOS TO YOU!!!
Thanks so much, Dotty. It is fun to see them presented together.
Sort of like a Girl Scout badge, after learning a new skill. Haha. 😉
I did feel a boost, and I am anxious to pick up a brush.
Working on the group gallery always interrupts me for a few days. But I love
doing the digital work as well.
You, my friend deserve major KUDOS! Consistent & regular creating, writing AND blogging!
Bravo! You are always inspiring! xoxo
Thank you again Sheila. It was a great month. You had a great creative month. Love your favorites. Happy to call you a friend.
Christine☆
So glad you had fun in the gathering, Christine. Your work was stellar this month!
Thanks so much, I’m glad you liked them. See you in the next, my friend! xoxo
(And before.)
You make me feel like a piker – lol. When I make my collage all I think about is getting the damn photos on the page without loosing any – I rarely think about anything else.
😆 I haven’t heard that term in awhile. Well, that is the favorites.
For the 30 day collage I just worry about getting them in order,
because my template is already numbered. LOL. 😄🤓
