The 30-Day Creative Gathering Artists, February 2023

Val van der Poel

The 2023 February 30 day Creative Gathering has come to a spectacular end. Many new members joined us. Day one started off with a bang. 40 pieces of art posted. Our daily average was 33, and our final count was just under 1000 pieces of art created, 992.

I didn’t count the extra pieces that were posted in comments. Those would put the total well over 1025. Our September 2022 total was just over 700. Way to score, artists!

I know you will enjoy this peek at the amazing art that was created during our Creative Gathering. Be sure to visit our board on Pinterest to see them in more of a gallery view. It’s spectacular!

The final presentation you made of everyone’s contributions is so well done. You make us all look our best. 🙂

Oh wow! Thank you so much for compiling this post, organising and encouraging us all Sheila 🥰. What a creative month we’ve all had, it’s lovely to see everything together like this.

We have to have done the universe some good by sending such creativity out into the world like this 💖

You said it Lynne! My writing skills lagged… the post was a long one this year.
But YES! We definitely added to the positive energy and light of the world!
So glad you enjoyed the post! See you soon! 🙂

Wow! Simply amazing everyone. I made a major departure from painting by learning to knit. The support I got was very encouraging. It was so inspiring to see the incredible variety of media represented. I’m always amazed how eclectic my favourites list is.

I try to go back and view each day several times during the gathering because many participants play catch up and post long after the day on the album cover. I’m always thrilled to see the new art and leave likes and comments.

I look forward to seeing you all again in the fall. Have a great spring and summer.

Yes, Sea. A long list, of eclectic favorites! 🙂 I am so grateful to you for doing that, Sea. I do constantly, for the very same reason. I wish I could get more people to understand the huge benefits of using the albums to view, rather than the main feed. Thanks you for continuing to look back, and comment! My wish is that everyone receives recognition and encouragement. And if they have taken the time to catch up, that is really something. So glad to have you in the group, still! Haha. You have been doing this longer than I have. You are the one who got me started, weren’t you? See you in September, and before! xoxo

What a wonderful collection of art and creativity! I hope that everyone who participated will give themselves a big pat on the back whether they did one piece or all 30. Somedays the chance to get creative just doesn’t happen but when it does I bet it makes everyone feel so much better. Sheila – you have done so much work organizing us and then putting together this blog and the pinterest page as well as doing your own art. You amaze me! Thank you so much for all you do.

Well said, Val. One reason I try so hard to include each artist, in this post.
Making a commitment to yourself, setting aside the time. Even one day out of 30, is better than not having done it all.
And we all have busy complicated lives. But setting the intention, can bring possibility.
Thank you so much, Val. For shining your light, and sharing your wonderful work. And thank you for consistently offering
your encouragement, and gentle suggestions. Those conversations are so vital to the group’s success. 🙂 xoxo

Thanks for visiting! I hope you'll take a minute and say hello. Always great to hear from you!
