Postcard Starts

An idea came to me while reading UPPERCASE. I thought the subscription cards would be perfect for some postcard art. The card stock is heavy, and some of them have nice patterns on the back. I also found a flyer with a nice weight.

Sometimes I amaze even myself. LOL. I am kidding. I was trying to shove some pens back in their drawer but it was not going to close. Finally, a light bulb went off, and I tried stacking them in the opposite direction. Voilà! And DUH!

You’re so organised! I have a pretty little cupboard under my wall easel to rest things on while painting, but I think drawers would be more useful. I never do well when I try to put things away, Out of sight out of mind. 🗄 I like the clear view idea.

It took me a while to find a good fit. I had drawers before, but they were sort of frosted. I am like that as well Sea. Out of sight, out of mind. These I found on Amazon. They are actually for storing makeup. Perfect for brushes and pencils, pens. The top drawer is long enough to fit my Cotman watercolor box. I have about three brushes that are too long, and what did I say, 5 pens I think that need to be angled.
There are many variations and sizes 🙂 I am sure I got the idea from someone else, LOL. 🙂

Just never know when inspiration will strike and what you can use. I have heard of this magazine, but thought it is primarily for designers? I listened to a podcast interview with the creator.

Janine is amazing!! She IS a designer, artist, writer, magazine, and book publisher. Has her own line of fabrics… I know I am forgetting a lot. The magazine is full of creatives of all mediums. I think both Michaels and Hobby Lobby carry them, so you can look through it if there is one near you (?).

I had to chuckle about the pen solution – who knew – lol. Your cards look like they will be very interesting
