Two out of three ain’t bad. Well, in this case, two out of three are bad. But there was joy in the creating. Learning in there as well. Good paper makes all the difference!

Trying for loose here. Kept on going all the way to messy and slightly muddy. Tried again, and Pink Tulips (above) was born.

Thank you Sandy. I do like #2. Even though it is nothing like what I had in mind. I think it can be made better… Just need to think on it a bit. Happy inking to you AI Guru!! 🙂 Hugging back!

The textural and color softnesses in your Pink Tulips painting make for a welcome release of my hunched up shoulders. Your painting invites me to breathe deeply and slow down. aaaahhhh … Love the lighthearted splatters, too—little sparks of energy.

Hunched shoulders, oh my! Stepping over to your blog to find out why! I am so happy with how soft that turned out. The colors were stronger when wet, of course. And I like that, but a sweet surprise in the end. I love splatters, as you know. To me they are little bits of light. Your descritption is way better! Sparks! Breathe deep, jump in, and go forward in your explorations!

A great example for all of us that sometimes we have to work at getting loose but it will come if we keep at it. The last painting exudes the flowing of artistic spirit. Your blog exemplifies these words by Van Gogh: “I am seeking. I am striving. I am in it with all my heart.”
Thanks, Sheila, for keeping us all motivated!
