Can I say it. Already looking forward to Leslie’s January challenge. I know, I am nuts. But there it is. It’s not just about the painting. It’s about the conversations.

Still kind of blowing me away. I felt successful this month, more often than I didn’t. That’s a big change. I hope it sticks.

Tomorrow the challenge artists will each share a collage of their work for the month. So fun to see the paintings together. I did not have a theme in mind at the beginning, but a few seemed to develop as the month went on. They are subjects I will continue to explore.

Here is the side-show I promised. Thought a good name for this would be “A day in the life of Mingus”. But these were taken in the space of an hour. Really loving these partly cloudy days!

Congratulations Sheila on another 30in30! And yes you can say your are looking forward to the next one. Have enjoyed all your work this month. Your watercolours are beautiful – strong, vibrant colour to soft and delicate – beautiful textures and compositions. Especially love the cacti (sp) keep going back for a second look. The Mingus montage is beautiful – lots of inspiration there! Looking forward to keeping in touch and seeing more of your artwork. Take care and happy painting! ox

Keep Going! There are photographers that do 365 projects and bloggers that do daily posts… I’m not in either camp, but you seem to be on a roll…
