How do I know God wants us to smile? Because he lined the country roads with wildflowers. Yellow, purple, white, and blue.  Some stand tall, together yet apart. Others huddle close as if sharing a secret.

Some of the challenge artists are sharing secrets. About themselves, their work, or their subjects. I think we all are standing tall. Dedicated to a common goal. Working together, even though we are apart.

Leslie has her reasons for hosting the challenge.  She wants us to have fun, paint more and get our art out into the world. I think the true blessing comes in the friendships we make.

Thank you Leslie, for all the hard work you put into this event! To all of my 30 in 30 friends old and new…

Thanks so much for dropping by, taking a look, and letting me know what you think.  I know we usually give thanks at the end of this artsy month. But each day I am so grateful to hear from you… just wanted to let you know.

Sheila, YES! I remember I joined the 30in30 for the first time in Sep 2015, thinking only about the art angle, having no idea I would make friends from all over the place—those friends? THE BEST! Thanks for putting words to the experience and the gratitude.

I’m especially loving the beautiful little patch of fertile ground in your painting today : )

Such a nice surprise wasn’t it Dotty!? Your art has been a joy in my life since the day I found you 🙂 Glad you like the “dirt”, ha ha ha. I just feel the need to include those colors. Still painting with the colors I used for my big sunflowers. 🙂

What wonderful thoughts!!! I am also so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to first create more and meet new friends. We don’t have many wild flowers at the end of the summer. They start after the first rains hopefully soon. Beautiful painting, always love your yellow/orange flowers!!! make my day!!
