Another possible submission for the Visual Aids 17th ANNUAL POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE event. I was stumped on this one. Sort of thought about a stand of trees, but I think the lines are too close together for that.

I am happy with the result, but I have already started on the next postcard. This show will be packed with postcards. I really want something that will stand out in the crowd.

Abstract Postcard

Working on my submission for the Visual Aids 17th ANNUAL POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE event. I have a handful of cards prepped with black acrylic marks. Today’s card started with basically four lines.

I rotated the card, to see what I could “see”. Took  a minute for an idea to form. This next step I completed quickly. About 15 minutes. That is only important because the goal was to keep my strokes loose.

I added more black around the edges, and some blue acrylic. The deadline is next month, so I have some time. Let me know what you think when you get the chance.

November Showers

We have had a bit of rain here in Southern California. My tail is waggin’. Oh may we be blessed by a long and wet winter! It has rained during the night, so I have not actually seen the rain. Kind of a bummer, but I am enjoying the cloudy days. The changing light, the cool temperature.
