30 In 30, Day Five

What’s in a name? that which we call a pear
By any other name would taste as sweet;

I know that is not how Shakespeare wrote it, but it works don’t you think? Day five for Leslie Saeta’s September 30 paintings in 30 days Challenge. I decided to return to a favorite, and there may be a few more of these. Who can resist. I love pears.

I hope you will take a look at all of the great art that is being presented. I just want to visit every artist’s site and tell them how much I enjoy their work, but with so many involved, that may be impossible. I do hope that those of you who visit my site will connect with me here, or on Facebook or LinkedIn. I’d love to keep up with your work.

    Congrats on Day #5 Sheila!!!

    Oh my, this pear looks SO delicious! As if one could pick it from your painting. Excellent job here. I love the colors. The shape and outline are very nicely done as well as the ‘freckles’ which make it so very real.

    Keep up the good work.

    Good Luck with Day #6.

      Thank you Joan! I have so much fun doing pears, I don’t know why I did not think of doing one earlier! I have not had a chance to see everyone’s work today, But I am looking forward to seeing yours 🙂
