I am pretty sure I still have this doll packed away. She was a talking doll. “I want another drink of water!” I remember that, but she said a few more lines as well. The doll was introduced in 1964. That was just a little before my time, not much, but a little. The hair on my doll never looked like this, it was permanently parted. Her big bald forehead was prominent and it was full of scuff marks. No mommy of the year award for me.

It is hard to believe that we are halfway through the month! Jiminy Cricket! I hope you will take a look at the party art. There are some really cute critters, and an awesome abstract tree. If you need a moment to chill, have a listen to this. Merry, Merry, Joy, Joy!

When I was about 7 years old, my cousin Anthony and I were Raggedy Ann and Andy for Halloween. I remember neither one of us was too happy about it. I am sure that was because we had to wear tights that had tape on them to make stripes. Then add the makeup and wig, and you are talking pure torture for a kid. But that is the price you pay for a sack full of free candy!

Painting this was pure fun. I really love the rough edge at the bottom. If I had tried to do that on purpose, you can bet it would have just been a hot mess. I Think this would make a great pillow. What do you think?

Check out the paint party, and enjoy!

Spending time with family today, so this was completed in about fifteen minutes. Could be better. Could be worse. What it is, is done. And sometimes that is enough.

I had fun trying to paint loose and wet. Still need more practice – Yea! More painting!

Hope you’re having a spectacular day! For your enjoyment, a little music. Come join the party!
