A lavender series with playful patterns. A late-night-last-minute landscape. Two fanciful florals. A playful pink abstract, the beginning of a small series. Week three, the condensed version.
I am sticking to the same formats. Either 6 x 6 inches, or 4 x 6. The abstracts are watercolor and mixed media with some digital elements. The loose floral also has digital scribbles and some of the splatter is digital as well. I included a few close-ups below, for a better look at the details.

Sheila, your pieces are beautiful. Lovely! Sorry I couldn’t join you this session. Next time!
You are missed, Martha. We are a tiny group this round. I’m excited to hear we might see you in February!
Thanks for saying hello, so glad you enjoyed the art. 🙂
Congrats on week 3. Nice work. Thanks for hosting CG 2025.

Thank you Christine. And thank you. For taking part in your own way.
I am so impressed with your dedication, this year. Months of dailies behind you, and more to come!
Happy creating my friend. 🙂
Wow – I really like your abstract pieces! Possibly because they are different from your flower pieces but they strike me as free and fun and the colours are so nice and clean.Well done Sheila!
Thank you, Val! Free and fun, I like that observation. 🙂
Sheila, what a fun and playful lavender series. Days 17 and 18 have me at a fireworks display after having walked through festive fields to get to the fireworks. Thanks for the close-up of 17. I’m totally pulled in by your late-night-last-minute landscape—the depth of field is so appealing to my eye. Your florals present a sweet contrast: perky well-defined bright and spare vs softer less-defined more muted and lushly packed together. The digital scribbles in Day 21 delight me! Again, thanks for the close-up. And now you’re off to a new series and a final week. My hat is off to you!
Fireworks. I love that Dotty. I see it now! 🙂
I’m glad you can see depth in the landscape. After I posted, I realized what I could have done better. For next time.
I also think I could have gone brighter on the scribbles. I toned down my first choice.
Shouldn’t have second guessed. LOL. More learning. 🙂
The next series is slightly sunny, and serene.
Thank you Dotty! 🙂
