I just love the way paint puddles and highlights the texture of the gesso.  I have inspirational stickers I am thinking of adding to these. Mmm… maybe I will add them to the back instead. Ha ha ha. Five more started last night. Hope you are enjoying some creative time as well!

I wasn’t sure that one was finished. But now I know to leave it alone. LOL 🙂 You know that better than anyone Carol. Inspiring your exploring 🙂

Ha ha ha 🙂 I spread the gesso on the paper with a palette knife. Leaving some areas uncovered, and texture from uneven spreading. I just move quick and if it gets covered great, and if not, great 🙂 After that dries, I paint on it.
I bought two pads of blank postcards, “watercolor paper”. A “steal”. But the paper is awful. It swells when you add water. So I thought to cover it up with the gesso. First one, I tried to get it smooth. But then I “goofed” and had some unevenness, and I really liked it;)
You can see on the cards, some of the uncovered paper showing around the edges. The darker areas. 🙂
