 MAPS AND RECIPES

Twenty twelve seems to have been my year of recipes and maps. I hadn’t started blogging yet. In addition to that, I wrote over 30 articles on wellness for Examiner.com. I had hoped it would generate extra income. The site no longer exists, so you can tell how that went. I think I received a small check, once. For each article, I created artwork as well.

I am sure that the experience of writing and posting for Examiner, gave me the courage to create my site. To start writing about my art. Stepping stones.

I’ve spent the last few days cleaning my computer files, and in doing that I revisited the past. You are right, seems to be a theme starting. I realized that I have never posted the maps and recipes here, naturally. And if this blog is a record of my journey, it would be incomplete without them. Adding a new gallery page takes care of that. Take a peek, and visit the site links on the page to see a HUGE view. Thanks for looking!

Loving that sky, especially all the pink, of course. 🙂 Can’t wait to take a peek at your gallery..I don’t think I realized you have pages up here on your site, so gonna grab something to sip on, and sit a spell.

I am really loving the skies out here. So many colors. Sometimes the whole sky turns a soft peach at sunset (when there are no clouds). Honored that you are going to visit my gallery. Hope you enjoy it. 🙂 Joyful day to you and the cats Katie 🙂

Ok now. I’m finally going to ask. Do you have more than 24 hours in a day, Sheila? Or just unbelievable energy? Whichever it is I am one of your beneficiaries from it. I checked out the gallery- such a cool thing! And your beautiful views. Wow. Always fun info, great art, and a generous portion of YOU. Thank you!

Wish I did Laurie! LOL. Those maps and recipes take time, there are 11, so I averaged one a month that year. But notice too, I have not done any since. I do have two that are WIP’s I keep trying to get back to. LOL 🙂
THANK YOU dear Laurie, for being interested and following along. My arty friends mean the world to me 🙂

What fabulous sky photos – nature, the best artist around! I had a look at the food gallery pics – very fun although they are a bit hard to read. You always find the most interesting sites to post to. Good luck with the backpack, Sheila.

So glad you enjoyed them Val, and I agree. Best artist around! On the site the images are huge, and much easier to see. For a time, they were offering them for sale m”mounted” on a gallery style canvas. You are right, if I do more, I will work on the typography more 🙂
