Poured paint on paper has a will of its own. Hoping for interesting, organic shapes. Instead I produced runs and drips. The details might be useful as part of a collage. Or maybe I can continue with more paint and marks. The colors show as intense, but in person they are soft, warm and subtle.

You don’t sound very happy with these pieces Sheila but I think the first and the third are super. The impression of trees in the mist against a craggy mountain with a lighter mountain in the distance strikes me as very natural. Use your photoshop to have two pieces, enlarging the first close-up and leaving the complete painting as is. – two from one is a good deal – lol. A different kind of abstract – good for you!

Sheila, totally love your acrylic paint pour. Details please: what kind of acrylics, and how did you make them pourable, and (how) did you prep your paper? The results are very appealing.

Nope. For dang sure! Lol. I was going to include 2 more photos but I thought it might make me the old cat lady of mountains. Lol.
I did not prep the paper. I used craft paint, thinned a bit with water.
I would love to try liquid acrylics. I am reading up on the process to learn more. Enjoy your day my friend ?
