Feeling these blues anyhow. Triple digit heat here… no wonder. No, not sad. Tired yes. Ready for a nap. Yes. These colors were calling to me. Just a messy quick cure. Brush in hand. Next, brush in water, swirling clean. Such a comfort, that sound.

I knew you would like it Kat. It is the same tone of one I did a long time ago, and sent to you. And it has purple, so of course. LOL

What a sweet little painting. And don’t I know about that sound of the brush in the water. So soothing. Especially in hot weather. I’m happy for you that you can enjoy your painting at least.
In my neck of the woods it’s been rather cool for a few days. But now the warm will return – and the summer storms probably.

Thank you Corinne 🙂 I will say a prayer that the storms are not too bad. Or damaging. Oh what I wouldn’t give for a cooling afternoon rain storm. LOL

If that is what ou do when you are feeling the blues you are so lucky. this piece is great! I love the colour combinations. Would that I could send you some cool weather and you could send me some hot. There is still snow on some of the mountains here. Take care, Sheila

Love this telegraphic post. Love the colors in your painting. Love the underwater feeling of cool and wet when I know current conditions are hot hot hot and dry. Happy to see this post : )
