Two quick studies, trying to use paint still left in my palette. Paint is a terrible thing to waste. Amazingly, I did not have to make any adjustments in Photoshop, this is exactly how the original looks. Yay Yupo!

The combination of blue and white is an old favorite of mine. Blue and anything. Just blue alone. That sounds like a title for a poem. Here is one for the tree.

Alone with myself
The trees bend to caress me
The shade hugs my heart.

perhaps listen to my thoughts,

That little tree was just for practice, but I thought it was too pretty not to share it. Thanks for stopping by Teresa 🙂

How does one waste watercolor paint? It doesn’t go bad and can be reconstituted with water. I almost cringe when I see people wipe out their palettes – use the paint, add a different color – paint a small picture but don’t just wipe it up and throw it away. I like you little flower pic – yupo is so great for bright colors

Exactly Val! Seeing the paint still in my palette… it was calling to me! I agree, Yupo makes the colors glow!
